Less than 0.3% of Fortune 500 board directors were openly LGBTQ+ in 2020.

Despite having made great strides through recent Supreme Court rulings, the LGBTQ+ community still struggles to achieve acceptance, equality, and recognition. In fact, 31 states still lack clear, fully-inclusive non-discrimination protections for LGBTQ+ people, meaning that despite marriage equality, LGBTQ+ Americans are still at risk of being fired or denied services due to their gender identity or sexual orientation.

Since 2015, Susie has been an active ally empowering change amongst non-LGBTQ+ people across school campuses and workplace environments. Her goal is to bridge this knowledge deficit and have LGBTQ+ voices seen, heard, and amplified. She artfully mixes her professional expertise as an artist and teacher with her personal coming out story to inspire and mobilize audiences through keynote presentations, speaker panels, and fireside chats.

WPC looks forward to creating a unique speaking engagement that will empower your participants and organization to make a big change, even if it’s the simple act of respecting pronouns. Some of her most popular topics include Success through Authenticity, and Surviving Trauma and Redefining Purpose.

Who’s it for?

Students, corporate conferences, leadership teams, or any group who would like to engage with an expert on LGBTQ+ issues.

What are the benefits?

Beyond tolerance and diversity, audience members will build a deeper understanding of social, political, and cultural issues affecting the LGBTQ+ community and open their minds to new opportunities for acceptance and awareness.
